When you think of a piano player, you imagine someone nerdy, unsocial, locked away practicing all day. Yuja Wang is quite the opposite. She is fabulous, beautiful, and charismatic, while also being extraordinarily gifted. By the age of 21, she was already a world-renowned concert pianist.
I can’t pretend to be extremely versed in the world of classical music and modern pianists… no one has ever captured my attention till Yuja Wang with her captivating stage presence.
Plus she’s performed alongside everyone’s favorite Venezuelan conductor, Gustavo Dudamel, among many other notable musicians.
As soon as she’s done playing at whatever renowned concert hall she’s at, you would assume Yuja Wang was off to an after-party at the club. Peddling in her Louboutin platform stilettos and sitting on the bench in a Hervé Leger mini dresses, passionately shaking her black-and-blue-streaked bob. Finally, some fashion, some flare, some glamour in the classical community. Some find her sexy outfits inappropriate, and those are the people who are killing the classical scene with their stuffy, antiquated ways.
