Besitos from Copenhagen

Coquetas’ thirst for adventure seems never to be quenched. Last weekend, she took flight on SAS Airways for a Danish escape.

My time was sweet and brief—barely 48 hours.

So, here is a chic list I compiled of places I’ve been or want to go to in Copenhagen.

Andersen & Maillard
You’ll see several of these bakeries around the city, and every single one has a line of people spilling out the door. Must-get: the cheesecake and a croissant.

Matcha Mori Café Atelier
The best matcha and onigiri. Recommend the Matcha Yuzu Fizz.

Sing Tehus
More matcha.

Cabin
A little wooden coffee shop.

Dallas Coffee
Sandwiches, bowls, and other tasty things.

Amator
A fabulous brunch spot I wish I had tried.

Mad & Kaffe
Yummy brunch.

Wulff & Konstali
Another great brunch option.

Bobe
A delightful restaurant with a beautiful interior, many vegetarian options, and delicate, thoughtfully prepared dishes. Upscale-ish dining.

Kong Hans Kælder
Fine, FINE dining.

Cleo
Intimate and hearty food.

Stuffed
It’s on the list, and I’m intrigued. It has great reviews.

Olise
Not sure about this one, but it looked very sexy from the outside. Someone go and let the Coquetas know.

Chiba
Another mystery yet to be uncovered. A Chinese restaurant with a charming, white, airy interior.

Bottega di Graziano
Recommended by an Italian.

Bar Moro
A tasty Italian spot. Must try the fried olives.

Baka d’ Busk
An experimental vegetarian restaurant.

Tokyo Restaurant
Well-priced, authentic Japanese food.

Proxy Vintage
An amazing designer archive shop. Expensive, but full of great pieces. Lots of JPG and Prada.

Wilde
Very well-curated vintage and designer pieces.

Maritime Antiques
Perfect for the Coquetos who love vintage workwear.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
A must-visit. Best enjoyed on a sunny day, preferably during the week, as it gets crowded on weekends. Beautiful architecture, outdoor sculptures, a well-curated gift shop, and a café overlooking the ocean and gardens.

Grundtvig’s Church
A Gothic-style, angelic church.

Coquetas’ Nordic explorations continue.
