With the many festivities around the corner, what better way than to add another one? This week of November 24 marks the one week since the Coquetas.Online launch. For the occasion, we bring you our very first Email Report. Enthusiasm rhymes with fantasme (in French) which are both feelings Coquetas wish to evoke. On November 17, we received our first email from one of you and we must say how impressed we were.
One paragraph goes:
“Now I suddenly need to visit to the Sainte-Baume grotto, buy a bandage dress, and try the Vodka/Margiela cocktail!! Would like to test it with a tiny squeeze of lime – just to cut the sweetness a bit?!?”
This is exactly the response we are looking for, and we are happy to hear the influence it has cast upon them. As Coquetas contributor #1 is stating above, we all highly encourage you all France-based readers to do a meet-up at the Sainte-Baume grotto and summon your luck.
On another note, the citrus addition to the cocktail still needs to be tested which we will report back to you. We did however try some adjustments: cutting out the sweetness with Maté is definitely not the way to go. It made the cocktail taste like German Christmas dessert Stollen. Drink for thought or perhaps more like drink for drain. It was not good but the mix up definitely created a new interesting flavour profile (we also added cinnamon… questionable).
“But honestly girls… I need MORE. I want to read MORE.”
