This atrocious picture is not mine, I never could do something like that. That’s not the point though.
For the mere 14 months I have lived in the US – or until my 2nd birthday – Milanos were apparently a staple in the household (or from what my mom would tell me). I would only ever hear whispers about how good they are and how much she loved them.
I finally got to experience what seemed to be a sheer myth during my first New Yorkan weekend whilst living in Montreal. I obviously had to purchase two boxes: one mint and one raspberry. Was it a pure Proustian moment? I am not sure but it was enough to make me obsessed with them for the following week and talking a little too much about it.
American Grocer in London seems too expensive and Amazon is even more ridiculous with a box costing up to 11 pounds (absolutely scandalous)… please e-mail us if you’ve ever seen them around the city.
PS. Over my Milano obsessive week I did make that photoshop image… did it actually hint to Coquetas original font?
